"When one is presented in a spatial setting which is fully and equally conditioned by the unraveling intensity acting between the physical and its opposite, their mind becomes stimulated and awakened."
THU House is a modern home capped with an over-spanning timber roof to provide cover for a cluster of living functions below. Besides the primary residential program, it also serves as a meeting place, encouraging artistic residents from diverse disciplines to engage in exchange and interactions.

The bold geometric structure of the building represents the dialogue and aspirations of humanity with nature. This message is most strongly conveyed through the concepts of 'open space,' 'flowing,' and 'refinement' between mundane life and the rest.

The experiential quality of the space is brought to life through the way we move and interact between different functional areas, where we can simultaneously walk and constantly engage and interact.
This natural integration has helped cultivate our ability to embrace changes in the context of the environment."

Continuous interaction with forms and materials.
To emphasize and concretize activities, the key functional areas of the house have been relocated to the exterior, at the boundary zone. This buffer zone serves as an ideal space, closely adjacent to nature. Here, both light and fresh air reach every corner, creating an intimate atmosphere that complements everyday life. This ambiance evokes nostalgic memories of traditional customs, deeply rooted in the subconscious from ancient times."

The level of contemplation about reality becomes stronger than ever in places where the original geometric forms emerge.

"The sun and wind from the garden blend into the space.
Tiny rays of light and the faint fragrance from the square courtyard follow the tropical breeze, flowing into the common living area of the house. It is the scent of the fruit garden, mingled with the aroma of herb bushes, evoking an atmosphere characteristic of the humid tropical climate.
The center of the house becomes a connecting element. As if, from the vastness, nature has now been abstracted by materials to evoke strong emotions that fulfill the spiritual needs of humans. And once again, through abstract concepts of nature, humans are connected with themselves."

The center of the house is also the center of emotional connections.
Encounters or visits at THU House may last just a few hours or extend into several days of stay. The smells and atmosphere the house offers awaken the senses of its visitors, allowing them to experience the subtle and delicate changes of creation."
